The themes of the IRSA ASM 2022 are resilience, reconnection, and collaboration much needed after a period of protracted enforced isolation due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

We hope that this ASM will be a reunion for many members of the IR community who have not had the chance to mingle, converse and laugh together for some time. This ASM will bring together the extensive experience and vision our Australasian IRs possess to help define the future of IR on both sides of the Tasman.

​

This year in keeping with the theme of collaboration we welcome guest speakers from The Australasian College of Phlebology. This opportunity will provide a platform for ongoing collegiality and dialogue between the two groups.

​

The 2022 ASM has expanded the educational opportunities for nurses and radiographers with a dedicated session run by our international guest speakers. This session will run concurrently with the IRSA AGM.

IRSA 2022 will focus on endovenous therapies and the possibilities they raise for treatments in both IR run practices through to complex hospital-based practice.

who have confirmed their availability to join us this year.

The program includes a complex but entertaining quiz, a session on the future of IR, EBIR and IRSA, registrar papers and the Annual General Meeting. This year we are looking forward to welcoming a wide range of industry partners who delegates can visit in the exhibition space, which will be a great place to catch up with old colleagues, make new connections and embrace new technology.

After two challenging years, we are looking forward to all gathering as a group again for an excellent educational experience and a long overdue opportunity to discuss, debate and deliberate with Colleagues and friends.
