The IRSA ASM Organising Committee invites the submission of abstracts for oral and e-poster presentation at the 2026 IRSA Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held in Brisbane from 20–22 July 2026.

 

The ASM provides a platform to showcase innovation, research, and clinical excellence in interventional radiology, and we welcome submissions across all eligible categories.

 

Important Dates

• Abstract submission deadline:  Friday 29 May 2026

• Notification of acceptance: Monday 15 June 2026

• Registration deadline for accepted abstract authors/presenters: Friday 3 July 2026

• ASM dates: 20-22 July 2026

How to Submit an Abstract

Abstracts must be submitted electronically. ​

• All abstracts must be submitted electronically via Oxford Abstracts.

• Submission links are available below for each category

• If you do not already have an Oxford Abstracts account, you will be prompted to create one

• If you have previously used Oxford Abstracts, you may log in using your existing credentials

• Forgotten passwords can be reset using the “Forgot password” option

• Accepted abstracts will be published in JMIRO

• Abstracts not accepted for oral presentation may be offered an e-poster presentation

• All accepted submitters (oral and e-poster) must register and attend the ASM in person.

• Prizes will be awarded at the ASM Farewell drinks event (commencing at the conclusion of the ASM) on Wednesday 22 July at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
