NURSE/RADIOGRAPHER E-POSTER PRESENTATION
The Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia Executive in conjunction with the Annual Scientific Meeting Organising Committee, would like to invite submission of abstracts from Nurses/Radiographers, on original work, for consideration as best e-poster presentation at IRSA’s Annual Scientific meeting taking place in Christchurch, New Zealand on 5-7 August 2024.

​​This year we are pleased to announce that a $2000 NZD cash prize will be awarded by IRSA for the best e-poster presentation by a Nurse/Radiographer.
​
In addition, all successful abstracts will be published in the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO)
Submission of abstracts are due for submission by 31st May 2024.
​
Only shortlisted abstracts will be invited for inclusion at the Annual Scientific Meeting and will be expected to attend in person.
​
Applicants are expected to be informed of the acceptance results by 14 June 2024.

Terms and conditions

Abstracts must not exceed 400 words. (This limit applies to the main body of the abstract only and excludes the abstract title, authors, affiliations, and references).

The abstract title should be short and informative. Key words should be listed below the main body of the abstract.

All presenting authors must include a one-page summary CV.

Short listing of submissions will be made by members of the IRSA Executive.

Judging will be conducted at the ASM by two judges appointed by IRSA. The judges’ decision will be final.

The winner of the prize will be expected to attend the Final ASM Dinner event at the IRSA ASM to receive their prize.

The prize must be taken in 2024.

The prize is non-transferrable.

If none of the submitted abstracts achieve the required standard, the prize may not be awarded.
