REGISTRAR/IR FELLOWS ORAL PRESENTATION
​IRSA would like to invite submission of abstracts from Registrars/IR Fellows, on original work in Interventional Radiology, for consideration as an Oral presentation at IRSA’s Annual Scientific Meeting.

Publication | Accepted oral abstracts will be published in the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO).

Terms and conditions

Eligible applicants must be current accredited RANZCR radiology registrars or IR fellows residing in Australia and New Zealand. Applicants must still be a registrar or IR fellow at the time of the presentation at the IRSA ASM.

Abstracts must not exceed 400 words. (This limit applies to the main body of the abstract only and excludes the abstract title, authors, affiliations, and references).

The abstract title should be short and informative. 2-3 key words should be provided.

All presenting authors must include a one-page summary CV uploaded at the time of submission

Short listing of submissions will be made by members of the IRSA Executive.

Judging will be conducted at the ASM by three judges appointed by IRSA. The judges’ decision will be final.

The winner of the prize will be expected to attend the Final ASM Drinks Event at the conclusion of IRSA ASM to receive their prize.

The prize is non-transferrable and may not be taken in cash value.

Travel and accommodation arrangements will be made by IRSA and CIRSE; there will be no reimbursement or part-payment for travel or accommodation arrangements made by the winner.

The prize does not cover visa costs, meals, travel insurance, transportation (other than a return economy flight) and other incidental costs.

If none of the submitted abstracts achieve the required standard, the prize may not be awarded.
